“I love the idea of remixes - artists adding their own flair to existing tracks, taking them different directions, and in many instances making them better.

This week, on March 7, 2018,  we had Fitbit Local San Diego come to November Project - SD, making the experience brighter for everyone. And (going deep) in my own life recently, I've had so many people 'remix' my track of life, taking me in so many new, exciting directions.

So, in celebration of remixing life, here's my Top 5 for the week. I've picked already uplifting tracks, remixed to introduce a lot of melodic basslines and some refreshing drops.”

The 2017 Chicago Marathon BQ Mix - Music Mix For Your Run

In support of my friend Sheri Matthews, who ran the 2017 Chicago Marathon, I created this running mix for her to listen to while she ran the streets of Chicago. It’s a one-hour, mix with BPMs from 130 to 100, perfect for your run or a race where you are attempting to qualify for the Boston Marathon … which Sheri did listening to this music.

So yeah, I’ll take partial credit.

DJ Kanoya Restorative Yoga Flow - Live Yoga Music Mix

This is a continuous 60+ minute restorative yoga setlist, originally programmed for the August 22, 2017 Savasana at Sunset taught by Sara Shermis. The first 10 minutes are ambient, useful for a warm-up flow and/or meditation. The pace picks up slightly, with vocal tracks sprinkled in throughout. But the pace is mostly slow, specifically for the restorative nature of the class it was created for.

At 55:27, the music is all ambient for approximately 20 minutes. This gives you a window for both a cool down and savasana.
