My experience in the Hotel del Coronado Crown Room
While the Ballroom at the Hotel Del Coronado may get all of the attention because of its ocean views and natural decor, the Crown Room is spectacular all on its own. The dark, all wood ceiling (built completely without nails) is naturally beautiful and has hosted former Presidents and many celebrities and political figures.
I have hosted and served as master of ceremonies for weddings and DJ’d Halloween parties and corporate events. Whether a dance floor has been sent up in the middle of the room or at the end near the windows, it’s always an amazing time getting large groups up and moving.
This room is not small by any means, and that also means guest counts at minimum are 200 for most weddings I have entertained in the Crown Room; and some of my most amazing dance parties have taken place there.
