The music and the equipment that plays it

How many times have you been at a party where the music just wasn’t doing it for you? Tunes are one of the most important elements in ensuring a great event. DJ Kanoya Productions has been building a music collection for the past 15 years. Additionally, the company has music subscriptions to services that are offered only to professional DJs. These subscriptions deliver the hottest songs you are hearing on the radio right now. But the classic hits are all part of the collection too. Need some help with the music for your event? Check out Mobile Beat Magazine’s latest “top 200” list.

Only the very best equipment is used by DJ Kanoya Productions. Here’s a rundown of what’s in the inventory.

Speakers: Mackie SRM 450 and DAS DS12-A
These are two sets of self-powered speakers. This means each speaker has its own amplifier. So if one should happen to blow, there is still another working speaker. No need to worry about one amplifier malfunctioning and killing the sound for your party.

CD Players/Mixers: Numark CD Mix-2
A top of the line dual CD player, manufactured by Numark. Enables two CD’s to be played at the same time, to create a continuous flow of music … just like on the radio.

Computer: Dell Inspiron 2650
At every event is a Dell laptop loaded with digital music and the advanced computer based DJ program, PCDJ Red. Songs that are requested can be quickly located and played directly from the laptop.

Microphone: Audio Technica multi-channel wireless microphone.
Enjoy the freedom of a wireless microphone and walk around the room as you toast your guests or make announcements. The multi-channel option ensures there will not be any problems with channel interference.

Lighting: American DJ Light Effects
Add lighting to your event to set the mood just right. DJ Kanoya Productions brings the following effects.

Electra II: Multi-colored moonflower effect; sound-active outside mirror and internal mirror move to the beat of the music.

Vertigo: Thirty beams of multi-color light; Beams rotate and crisscross back and forth to the beat of the music

Roto-pod: Continuous rotating white moonflower effect.
